Comments on the National Grid Rate Case (19-01093)

North Brooklyn Neighbors submitted comments to the Public Service Commission (PSC) in opposition to National Grid’s proposed rate increase for customers in Brooklyn and Queens. The utility company is seeking more than three billion dollars in funds to finance its planned infrastructure projects.

In our comments we contend that National Grid has failed to show how their proposed investments will move us closer to the state’s climate goals and why ratepayers should pay for it especially during this economic downturn. We urged the PSC to reject the increase.
