NuHart Community Health Survey Results

After several months of survey data collection, analysis, and community collaboration, North Brooklyn Neighbors, in partnership with NYU Langone, is pleased to share the results from the NuHart Community Health Survey. Based on responses from 196 community members, the survey found that living near to the NuHart site prompted people to change their behavior. While this survey did not find any strong relationships between proximity to the site and specific health issues, a majority of respondents still felt that living near the site had affected their health in some way, highlighting ongoing community concerns about potential health risks. Additionally, age and the length of time people had been living in the area were associated with higher reporting of certain health issues.
